Communicare in Southampton is a registered charity (number 1110427) tackling isolation and loneliness across the city from 6 Northlands Road, Southampton SO15 2LF. Trained volunteers match with older or isolated residents for friendly visits, phone calls, transport to appointments, shopping and gardening. The team also runs CommuniBakes, friendship groups, bowls sessions, the Better at Home initiative and the Southampton Mental Health Network (SMHN).
