Hertfordshire's CVS infrastructure charity supporting voluntary groups and delivering social prescribing resources, volunteering and community development across the county.
Communities 1st is a Council for Voluntary Service supporting Hertfordshire's voluntary, community, faith and social enterprise sector. They provide funding advice, governance support, training, volunteering brokerage and run the Social Prescribing Resource Bank for link workers across Herts. Communities 1st also delivers the Thriving Communities programme in the East of England, connecting social prescribers with community groups. Membership and signposting are free and they help residents find local activities, befriending, advice and wellbeing support.
