Free social prescribing service helping adults in East Sussex connect to community groups, activities and support.
Community Connectors is a free social prescribing service run by the charity Southdown. Trained Connectors meet you for a friendly chat, help you work out what would improve your wellbeing, and link you to local groups, activities and support — from peer groups and exercise classes to debt advice or housing help. Referrals are accepted from GPs and other professionals or you can self-refer.

Who it's for
Who they help: People who feel low, isolated, anxious or struggling with a long-term condition and would benefit from non-medical support.
Eligibility: Adults aged 16+ in Hastings & Rother, Eastbourne, Seaford & Hailsham experiencing issues affecting their physical or mental health.
Area covered: Eastbourne
Not suitable for: Not for under-16s; people in immediate mental-health crisis should contact NHS 111 option 2 first.
