Single point of contact for unpaid adult carers in South Tyneside - support groups, advice and one-to-one help, led by ACTS.
Connected Caring South Tyneside is the boroughs commissioned service for unpaid adult carers, led by Age Concern Tyneside South in partnership with Vision and Hearing Support and Your Voice Counts. It connects carers aged 18+ to peer support groups, one-to-one sessions with trained volunteers, information on benefits and respite, and opportunities for personal development. It replaced the previous South Tyneside Adult Carer Service (STACS) and works closely with health and council partners.
