Contact is the UK national charity for families with disabled children. The free helpline 0808 808 3555 (Monday to Friday 9.30am to 5pm) covers benefits, education, behaviour, health and rights. The charity produces parent guides, runs workshops and family events, and offers a Listening Ear emotional support service, sibling sessions and online communities. Free membership. Open to parents and carers of disabled children aged from birth to 25 anywhere in the UK, including those without a diagnosis.
