Drop-in centre and counselling service in Morpeth supporting people with mental ill-health and their carers across South East Northumberland.
Contact is an independent Morpeth charity founded in 1986 and is the only mental-health drop-in covering south east Northumberland. The team welcomes people for a cuppa and chat in a non-judgemental space, runs activities to reduce isolation, offers professional counselling, and provides benefits advice and caravan respite breaks for members and carers. Referrals come from GPs, social prescribers, community mental health teams or directly from people themselves.
