Refuge and community support for women and children experiencing domestic abuse in Coventry.
Coventry Haven is the citys specialist domestic abuse charity for women and children, with an all-female staff team. They run safe refuges, drop-in sessions and a helpline on 0800 111 4998. Specialist strands cover forced marriage, honour-based abuse, FGM, deaf survivors and women with no recourse to public funds. The IRIS Project places workers in GP practices, and childrens programmes run alongside adult support. Help also covers immigration, housing, debt and discrimination. Services are free and confidential.
