Cramlington Foodbank, part of the Trussell network, has operated from the Hope Centre on Forum Way for seven years. It supports people in food crisis across south east Northumberland and gave out 3,524 emergency parcels last year, including 1,289 for children. Vouchers are issued by GPs, housing associations, advice charities and schools. The centre also runs a uniform and baby equipment bank on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
