Cumbria CVS is the Council for Voluntary Service supporting community, voluntary and not-for-profit groups across Cumbria, including Westmorland and Furness. The team helps groups with funding, governance, training and recruiting volunteers, runs the Furness For You neighbourhood support hub, and connects people who want to volunteer with local opportunities. Social prescribers use them to find suitable community-based activities for patients across South Cumbria.
