Brent's Council for Voluntary Service supporting local charities and community groups with training, advice and funding.
CVS Brent is the lead support body for Brents voluntary and community sector, offering one-to-one advisory appointments, specialist training and online resources for charities, community groups and social enterprises. The team also runs thematic networks for advocacy and policy work. Active projects include We Wear Heritage, Community Champions and the Back to Health Pathway tackling hospital appointment non-attendance. Between April 2023 and May 2024 CVS Brent supported 253 community organisations and ran 34 training events.
