Trussell-network foodbank providing emergency food parcels and household provisions for individuals and families across Dacorum.
DENS Dacorum Foodbank, run since 2003 by the Dacorum homelessness and poverty charity DENS in partnership with Trussell, gives emergency three-day food parcels and household basics. Last year it handed out 3,617 parcels providing 127,923 meals from the Hillfield Road centre in Hemel Hempstead and other collection points. Vouchers come from HertsHelp, Citizens Advice and other partners. DENS receives no government funding and relies on public donations.

Who they help: Individuals and families facing poverty, food crisis or homelessness.
Eligibility: Anyone in food crisis living in Dacorum (Hemel, Berkhamsted, Tring and villages) who has a valid foodbank voucher.
Area covered: Hemel Hempstead
Not suitable for: This service is only for people who live in Dacorum and have a foodbank voucher. People elsewhere should contact their local Trussell foodbank.
