Volunteer-led emergency overnight accommodation for young people facing homelessness across Tyneside and the North East.
Nightstop North East, run by Depaul UK, provides same-night emergency accommodation for young people aged 16-25 at risk of rough sleeping across Newcastle, Gateshead, North Tyneside and the wider North East. Trained and vetted volunteer hosts offer a spare room, meals, washing facilities and a friendly listening ear while staff work with the young person on longer-term housing solutions. Depaul also runs Simonside House in Newcastle, providing supported accommodation for under-25s leaving care or in housing crisis.
