Saffron Walden community allotment offering hands-on gardening sessions to boost wellbeing, reduce isolation and learn about food growing.
Dig It Community Allotment at Crocus Fields in Saffron Walden (CB10 2GA) is a free volunteer-led organic food growing project. All ages and abilities are welcome, with accessible facilities including a wheelchair ramp and on-site toilet. Volunteers learn horticulture through skill-building courses, share field-kitchen meals during the growing season and take home produce.
