The Diss Community Support Service is part of the Norfolk and Waveney Community Support Service, a partnership between Voluntary Norfolk, British Red Cross and Age UK Norwich. DBS checked and trained volunteers offer telephone friendship, doorstep welfare checks, prescription and food collections, and short term practical help, especially for people just home from hospital.
