NHS-commissioned service supporting unpaid carers in Doncaster with information, groups and one-to-one help.
The Doncaster Carers Wellbeing Service is delivered by national charity Making Space and supports unpaid carers in their caring role and to stay connected in the community. They provide information and guidance, one-to-one support, peer groups, signposting, and help carers look after their own wellbeing. The local authority Wellbeing Team completes carers assessments. The service supports carers of adults with mental health conditions, learning disabilities, dementia and other long-term needs.
