Independent Waltham Forest food bank providing emergency food parcels and signposting to people in financial crisis from Walthamstow Quaker House.
Eat or Heat is the largest independent food bank in Waltham Forest, running from 12A Crescent Road, London E4 6AT. Volunteers give out three-day emergency food packages, with sessions on Monday 6.30-7.30pm, Wednesday 1-2pm and 6.30-7.30pm, and Friday 6.30-7.30pm. Residents in financial hardship can self-refer through the website without a voucher. The team also lobbies on welfare and cost-of-living issues. Operating since November 2011.
