Free personalised support for young carers under 18 and young adult carers 16-24 in South Essex.
Essex County Council's Young Carers Service (South) provides free personalised support to children and young people under 18 who provide regular, ongoing care to someone who is physically or mentally ill, disabled or misuses substances. Young adult carers aged 16-24 can also access support. The service offers personalised support plans developed around each young carer's needs, including advice, emotional support and connection to activities. Referrals from professionals or self-referral.
