Emmaus Hull & East Riding
Advice: Money, Housing & Work · Charity · Hull
Homelessness charity providing a home, work experience and support to formerly homeless companions in Hull.
Emmaus Hull & East Riding provides much more than a bed for the night. The Orchard is a purpose-built community with 30 en-suite rooms where formerly homeless people, known as companions, live for as long as they need while gaining meaningful work experience through the charitys social enterprise. Wraparound support tackles mental and physical health, substance misuse, offending behaviour and life skills. A rough sleeper outreach service has run since 2016 offering advice and signposting on the street.
