Empowerment is a Blackpool-based charity making sure local voices are heard. It runs the Blackpool Advocacy Hub, the Lived Experience Team for people with experience of substance misuse, homelessness or mental ill health, Healthwatch Blackpool, The Den for children affected by domestic abuse, and Solace for those bereaved by suicide. Staff offer one-to-one help, group programmes and influence local services through user voice.
