Free family hubs and support across Essex for parents, carers and children (pregnancy to age 19, or 25 with SEND), delivered by Barnardo's for Essex County Council.
The Essex Child and Family Wellbeing Service runs free family hubs across Essex, delivered by the children's charity Barnardo's with HCRG Care Group and commissioned by Essex County Council. It supports parents, carers and children from pregnancy to age 19 (or 25 for young people with special educational needs or disabilities) with health visiting, breastfeeding and parenting support, groups and activities, and early help for families who need extra support. You can drop in to a local family hub or contact the service to find what is near you.

Eligibility: Parents, carers, children and young people from pregnancy to age 19 (or up to 25 with special educational needs or disabilities) living in Essex.
Area covered: Essex (excluding Southend and Thurrock)
Not suitable for: This service covers Essex County. It does not cover Southend-on-Sea or Thurrock, which run their own separate children's and family services. It is not an emergency service; in an emergency call 999.
