Social Connection & Community · Public Service · Essex
Free warm, welcoming library spaces across Essex with hot drinks, activities and community connection. Open year-round.
Essex Libraries offer free access to warm, welcoming spaces particularly during winter and the cost-of-living crisis. The Warm Welcomes programme provides a safe place for residents to access hot drinks, activities, computers and wi-fi, and connect with others in the community. Libraries are free for everyone and open year-round. They also host health and wellbeing events, digital support sessions and community groups. Dementia-friendly activities available at some branches.
