Free support to find and start suitable physical activity in Essex, with referrals to leisure centres and activity groups.
The Essex Wellbeing Service Physical Activity strand provides free support for Essex residents to find physical activities that suit their health, lifestyle and circumstances. Support workers can recommend and refer to local leisure centres and activity groups, help people identify the right level of activity for their current health, and motivate people to become more active. Available one-to-one in community clinics or GP surgeries and by telephone. Part of the wider Essex Wellbeing Service.

Eligibility: Essex residents 18+ wanting to increase physical activity levels
Area covered: Essex (excl. Southend and Thurrock)
Not suitable for: This service is for people aged 18 and over who live in Essex. It is not available to under-18s or to people who live in Southend or Thurrock.
