Falmouth and Penryn Welcome
Social Connection & Community · Volunteer-led · Falmouth
Volunteer-led group supporting resettled refugee families in Falmouth and Penryn.
Falmouth and Penryn Welcome was set up in April 2018 by local volunteers who wanted to help people affected by war and conflict. The registered charity (no. 1181196) has resettled three refugee families in the area through the UK Community Sponsorship scheme. It offers English lessons, housing help, school links, employment and benefits guidance, health support and social events, working alongside Cornwall Council and partner refugee groups.
