Family Action's Peterborough services include five preschools, the FOOD Club, holiday activities and a Cost of Living Support Hub.
Family Action runs the Peterborough Food Club at Woodfield Park Community Centre (The Charteris Centre), Normanton Road, Welland, open Tuesdays 9.30am to 1.30pm. Members pay a one-off 1 pound joining fee plus 4.50 pounds a week to choose food worth at least 15 pounds, including fresh produce, meats, dairy and store cupboard items. Self-referral or professional referral on 01733 893361. The team also signposts wider local support.

Who they help: Parents, carers and children aged 0-19 in Peterborough
Eligibility: Families with children in Peterborough, particularly those on low incomes or facing isolation.
Area covered: Peterborough
Not suitable for: Preschools are for children aged 2-4 only. Some services have eligibility criteria (eg HAF for free-school-meal eligible children). Families outside Peterborough should look at Family Action services elsewhere or Romsey Mill in Cambridge.
