Sussex charity providing intensive home-based support to families struggling with poverty, ill health and family breakdown.
Family Support Work has been The Sussex Charity for Children since 1890, partnered with the Diocese of Chichester. Family practitioners help families of all faiths facing poverty, ill-health, learning difficulties, bereavement, family breakdown or domestic abuse through home visits, group work and community activities, staying involved until households get back on their feet. They also provide food, clothing and household items. The main office is at Garton House, 22 Stanford Avenue, Brighton; referrals on 01273 832963.
