First Love Foundation — Tower Hamlets Foodbank
Advice: Money, Housing & Work · Charity/Voluntary Organisation · Tower Hamlets
Tower Hamlets foodbank with wraparound advice and casework on benefits, housing and debt to help people out of crisis.
First Love Foundation has been tackling poverty in Tower Hamlets since 2010, providing rapid trauma-informed crisis intervention, welfare rights advice and advocacy alongside a network of over 250 partner organisations and the London Borough of Tower Hamlets and City of London. The charity has closed its own foodbank to focus resources on resolving the root causes of crisis; food referrals are now signposted on to the wider network of Tower Hamlets foodbanks. The Advice and Support project works alongside those food providers to help households move out of crisis.
