Greater Manchester Bangladesh Association
Social Connection & Community · Charity · Manchester (Longsight)
Community centre supporting Bangladeshi communities in Manchester with advice, ESOL, youth, cultural activities and digital skills training.
Greater Manchester Bangladesh Association runs a community centre offering advice, ESOL and IT training, youth club, sports and cultural activities for Bangladeshi residents across Manchester. The drop-in advice service helps with benefits, housing, immigration paperwork, employment and family issues, with staff who speak Bengali and Sylheti. Cultural and religious celebrations bring generations together, while parenting and womens groups provide peer support. The association also signposts to Manchester Mind, debt advice and NHS services and is a trusted partner for outreach in the Longsight and Levenshulme communities.
