Gosport infrastructure charity for volunteering, social prescribing and small group support.
Gosport Voluntary Action merged with Community First on 1 October 2024 and now operates under the Community First brand (Hampshire charity 1147527). The merged team continues to support local groups with volunteer recruitment, funding bids, governance and business planning, plus training. The Gosport community bus connecting the town with surrounding areas keeps running, and the Gosport Community Lottery still offers weekly prizes up to 25,000 pounds with ticket sales going to community groups. Volunteer First, Shopmobility and Young Carers services also continue.
