The Halo Project is a Middlesbrough-headquartered national charity supporting Black and minoritised victims and survivors of honour-based abuse, forced marriage and FGM. Founded in 2011 by Yasmin Khan, the team offers a confidential helpline, advocacy, casework, court support and refuge referrals. Live chat is available Monday-Friday morning and evening and at weekends. Referrals are taken from individuals and any agency.
