Brain injury support charity offering peer groups, walking football and clinical advice across Newcastle and the North East.
Headway Tyneside helps people affected by brain injury - including their families and carers - to live better lives across Newcastle and the wider North East. The charity offers a Tuesday social group, walking football, monthly outings, education sessions and a free helpline. Workers signpost to specialist brain injury solicitors, clinical services and equipment. Family carers get peer support and recognition of the long-term impact of brain injury on whole families. Meetings rotate through accessible venues in central Newcastle.
