Independent local champion for people using health and social care in B&NES, gathering feedback and providing signposting.
Healthwatch Bath and North East Somerset listens to residents experiences of NHS and social care and feeds them back to commissioners. Current projects include adult social care engagement, a digital and technology strategy partnership with the council, a childhood vaccinations report based on parent and carer views, a high blood pressure awareness campaign and documenting local advocacy services. The team offers a service finder tool, complaint-making support and regular publications, alongside volunteer roles and community awareness events.
