Healthwatch Bexley is the boroughs independent champion for users of NHS and social care services. Its 2024/25 annual report Unlocking the power of people-driven care documents sharing views from more than 10,000 residents. Current research projects include the London Public Mental Health Survey, a Smoking, Stress and Inequality in Bexley study and GP appointment choice research. The team helps residents with GP registration, finding NHS dentists, raising complaints and locating local NHS services, alongside community events and volunteer roles.
