Healthwatch Cambridgeshire and Peterborough
Advice: Money, Housing & Work · Charity/Voluntary Organisation · Cambridgeshire and Peterborough
Independent statutory consumer champion for NHS and social care users across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough.
Healthwatch Cambridgeshire and Peterborough collects NHS and adult social care experiences, including through surveys in British Sign Language, and runs Enter and View visits to local services. Current projects look at barriers autistic young people face in primary care, mental health transitions for young people, patient experience at Ely and Wisbech Community Diagnostic Centres, NHS trauma-informed support around domestic abuse and police interactions with neurodivergent residents. A Young Healthwatch programme involves youth voices, with user guides on the NHS App and mobility scooter safety.
