Independent voice for people using health and care services across Derbyshire county, providing information, advice and feedback channels.
Healthwatch Derbyshire is the countywide health and social care champion. They speak with patients, families and carers about their experiences of GPs, hospitals, dentists, pharmacies and care homes, then push that feedback to decision-makers. They give information and advice on choosing services, making complaints and getting extra support. Trained volunteer Authorised Representatives also carry out friendly visits to care settings to listen to residents and staff.
