Healthwatch Manchester
Social Connection & Community · Charity · Manchester (City Centre)
Independent statutory body helping Manchester residents find and feed back on local health and social care services.
Healthwatch Manchester is the independent voice for people who use health and social care in the city. The team helps residents find information about GPs, dentists, hospitals, mental health services and social care, gathers patient experiences and uses them to push for service improvements. Outreach in markets, places of worship and community centres reaches under-heard groups including BAME and refugee communities. Volunteers carry out Enter and View visits to inspect services. People can self-refer for information or report concerns by phone, email or webform.
