Council-funded physical activity on referral and adult weight management programme delivered through Better leisure centres.
Healthwise Waltham Forest delivers two 12-week supported programmes for adults registered with a Waltham Forest GP or living in the borough. The Adult Weight Management group involves a weekly two-hour session combining a workshop with supervised exercise, while the Physical Activity on Referral programme provides one-to-one support. Activities include gym workouts, group classes, water-based exercise and guided walks across six venues including Chingford, Walthamstow and Lee Valley Ice Centre. Contact 0208 509 9196.
