Council crisis support team for residents in financial hardship.
Helping Hand is Buckinghamshire Councils cost-of-living programme funded through the Crisis and Resilience Fund. Support includes crisis payments after a sudden drop in income, help with energy, water and broadband bills, food banks, community fridges, voucher schemes, debt and benefits advice, employment and skills training, healthcare travel costs and Welcoming Spaces. The Holiday Activities and Food Programme provides free meals and activities for eligible children in school holidays. An online Financial Eligibility Checker helps applicants find the right route.
