Countywide programme of free volunteer-led health walks at all abilities running in Stevenage, Welwyn Hatfield, Hertford and other Herts towns.
Hertfordshire Health Walks is the countywide free walking programme coordinated by Hertfordshire County Councils Countryside Management Service and accredited by the Ramblers Walking for Health scheme. Walks are graded across six categories from First Steps (20-30 minutes for people recovering from illness) up to Grade 3-4+ hikes of 90 minutes or more. Walks run in Broxbourne, Dacorum, East Herts, Hertsmere, North Herts, St Albans, Stevenage, Watford, Three Rivers and Welwyn Hatfield. No booking - arrive 15 minutes early.

Who it's for
Who they help: Inactive adults, older people, people with mild long-term conditions, anyone wanting social walks
Eligibility: Anyone aged 16+ wishing to walk; under-16s welcome with an adult.
Area covered: Hertfordshire East
Not suitable for: There are no restrictions - anyone can join. People with significant medical conditions should check with their GP before joining a faster grade walk.
