Hertfordshire Independent Living Service (HILS) is a not-for-profit social enterprise with over 400 staff serving Hertfordshire, West Sussex, Hampshire and Bedfordshire. The team delivers hot meals on wheels at lunchtime with a daily welfare check, plus frozen meals, lunch clubs and pop-in visits. Crisis support brings food during emergencies and welcome-home packs for hospital patients, and services include nutrition guidance, group exercise, day centres and dementia activities.
