Countywide local Mind providing wellbeing centres, talking therapies, peer support and recovery services for adults across Hertfordshire including Stevenage, Hatfield and Welwyn.
Hertfordshire Mind Network is the local Mind for the county, headquartered at The Wellbeing Centre, 501 St Albans Road, Watford WD24 7RZ. The team supported 17,219 people last year - 7,063 adults and 10,156 young people - through eight Wellbeing Centres. Services include the Nightlight Crisis Service (daily 7pm-1am), peer support groups including LGBTQ+, music and perinatal mothers, NHS Talking Therapies and private counselling, employment, housing and refugee support, and dedicated young peoples services for ages 5-18. Who they help: Adults 16+ with anxiety, depression, low mood, loneliness, or recovering from a mental health crisis
Eligibility: Open to anyone aged 16+ registered with a Hertfordshire GP or living in the county; self-referral, GP or professional referral accepted.
Area covered: Hertfordshire East
Not suitable for: This service is for people aged 16 or over living in Hertfordshire. Children under 16 should contact CAMHS or Just Talk Herts instead.
