Charity providing trained volunteer home-visiting and group support to families with at least one child aged 11 or under.
Home-Start Lincolnshire is a local charity offering friendship and practical help to families with young children. Trained volunteers - usually parents themselves - visit families weekly at home to listen, build confidence, reduce isolation and help with parenting challenges. The charity formed in 2015 by merging eight local Home-Start schemes. It supports over 1,000 families and 2,300 children each year across the county, particularly families experiencing post-natal depression, bereavement, disability or social isolation.
