Free palliative care, bereavement support, spiritual care and family services for west Herts and Buckinghamshire.
The Hospice of St Francis is based at Spring Garden Lane in Berkhamsted and cared for 2,466 people in the past year across Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire. Alongside in-patient and home palliative care for adults with life-limiting illnesses, it offers rehabilitation, wellbeing programmes and specialist support for pulmonary fibrosis and heart failure. The Spring Centre delivers childrens supportive care, and bereavement help includes a telephone advice line, one-to-one counselling and group sessions including bereaved Fathers Day events.
