Ipswich homelessness charity running the Chapman Centre, outreach for rough sleepers, supported accommodation and a money advice service.
Ipswich Housing Action Group (ihAg), founded in 1976, supports anyone homeless or at risk of homelessness in Ipswich. The Chapman Centre at 1 Black Horse Lane is a six-day-a-week homeless hub offering showers, laundry, hot meals, postal address, advocacy and health-care connections. In 2025 the centre logged 6,176 visits by 518 people, 926 showers and 1,377 breakfasts. ihAg also manages 38 single rooms across 11 shared houses and runs early-morning street outreach to rough sleepers.
