Cambridge's main year-round emergency hostel and modular housing provider for adults experiencing homelessness, founded in 1995.
Jimmys Cambridge (reg. 1058737) is a homelessness charity celebrating 30 years of service in 2025. Based at 1 East Road, Cambridge CB1 1BD, the team runs an emergency hostel, modular self-contained homes, shared housing and a service for people with multiple needs. Some accommodation is dog-friendly and no local connection is required. Wraparound support covers benefits, resettlement, health-care access, addictions and move-on planning. Eligibility: Adults aged 18+ experiencing homelessness or at imminent risk of rough sleeping in Cambridge.

Not suitable for: Jimmy's is for adults aged 18 and over only - young people under 18 should contact Children's Social Care or YMCA Trinity Group. Most placements are coordinated through the Street Outreach Team and Cambridge City Council Housing Advice.
