NHS-supported community garden in central Clacton with vegetable beds, outdoor gym, Men's Shed and walking group meeting point.
Kennedy Way Community Garden opened on 13 October 2021 in the car park of Kennedy Way Medical Centre, Clacton CO15 4AB. The site is a partnership between the NHS, NHS Property Services, CVS Tendring and Suffolk and North East Essex ICS. It includes organic raised beds, a Mens Shed (Mon-Thu 9am-12pm) building hedgehog and bird boxes, an Upcycling Hub, wheelchair-accessible outdoor gym and sensory garden. Wellness Monday runs 10am-12pm and Mind the Music dementia-friendly singing meets the last Friday 1-2:30pm (£2.50). Social prescribing self-referrals welcome.

Not suitable for: There are no restrictions - anyone can use the garden. The Men's Shed has set days; outside these times the workshop is locked. New volunteers receive simple training from CVST staff.
