Lewisham Pensioners Forum
Social Connection & Community · Volunteer-led · Lewisham
Volunteer-led forum representing and supporting older people across Lewisham.
Lewisham Pensioners Forum has campaigned for older residents in the borough since 1986. The Forum meets every Monday at St Mauritius House for the Monday Project — arts sessions, music groups, healthy walks, creative workshops and wellbeing support, plus a friendly cuppa and chat. Bi-monthly larger meetings, often attended by over 70 people, host guest speakers. The Forum campaigns on local issues such as NHS closures and national issues like pensions policy and the freedom pass, and runs a weekly desk at Lewisham shopping centre.
