Free Walking for Health scheme organised by Epping Forest District Council with five led walks every week.
Lifewalks is the Walking for Health scheme run by Epping Forest District Council. Launched in April 2001, it offers five led walks every week with over 25 routes between 1 and 3 miles on good-surface paths in countryside and country parks around Waltham Abbey, Epping, Theydon Bois, Loughton, Chigwell, Buckhurst Hill and North Weald. Walks are free, with no need to book, and trained volunteer leaders set a gentle pace so new walkers can join in easily.
