Lighthouse Womens Aid is a Suffolk-based domestic abuse charity that has provided safe refuge in Ipswich since 1976. It supports women, young people and children fleeing or recovering from abusive relationships. Staff give face-to-face and phone help with benefits, school places, housing and therapeutic group work; the national 24-hour helpline 0808 2000 247 is available out of hours.
