Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust Wild Wellbeing
Social Connection & Community · Charity · Horncastle (county-wide)
Nature-based wellbeing programme using volunteering, forest bathing, courses and walks across Lincolnshire reserves.
Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust runs the Wild Wellbeing programme to support mental and physical health through nature. Activities include weekly volunteering groups, informative talks, formal courses, forest bathing at woodland reserves, family fun days and the Big Wild Walk. The programme builds on evidence that contact with nature reduces stress, anxiety and depression, with 95 percent of low-wellbeing volunteers reporting improvement within six weeks. Open to people across all seven districts of Lincolnshire.
