Lingen Davies (charity no. 1160922) is the cancer charity for Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin and Mid Wales, founded in 1979 to fund the radiotherapy unit at the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital. Its fundraising office sits in the Hamar Centre, Royal Shrewsbury Hospital, SY3 8XQ - originally funded by a legacy from south Shropshire GP Dr Linnie Hamar. The free LiveLife awareness service helps people spot symptoms and find support, while the iCan rehabilitation programme is delivered with health partner Lifestyle Fitness for anyone affected by cancer.
